The 21-year-old woman that Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden insulted over the weekend as being a “lying dog-faced pony soldier” fired back at the 77-year-old, saying that his campaign does not have what it takes to win.
“A lot of what he’s saying seems to be very pathos-based and very sad and we’ve heard a lot about deaths and cancer and people losing their jobs and to me he doesn’t really seem very solution oriented,” Madison Moore told Fox News. “I don’t think he has the momentum to carry this to a national election.”

Moore asked Biden over the weekend, “How do you explain the performance in Iowa, and why should voters believe that you can win the national election?”
Biden recognized the question and then turned it around on her, saying, “Iowa’s a caucus. Have you ever been to a caucus?”
When she indicated yes, Biden fired back, “No, you haven’t. You’re a lying dog-faced pony soldier.”
Moore told The Washington Post, “I read an article that he said [Iowa] was a punch to the gut, and I’m not one to just push on wounds. I’m not trying to humiliate anyone. He wasn’t sitting in at the Senate trials for impeachment, so he had Iowa to himself. And then you’ve been a politician for like decades — how are you not way above all the other candidates?”
The Post noted that Moore accused Biden of insulting her, writing, “in reality, it is totally irrelevant whether I’ve been to a caucus or not. Joe Biden has been performing incredibly poorly in this race. His inability to answer a simple question from a nobody college student like me only exacerbates that reality.”
Biden surrogate Symone Sanders downplayed the incident on MSNBC when asked by host Andrea Mitchell on Monday, “Is that the way to talk to voters?”
“Well, frankly it was a joke, many people in the room laughed, many people in the room laughed and it is a line he has used frequently,” Sanders said. “Look, Andrea, there is not a better retail politician in American than Joe Biden.”
Most people were stunned by Biden’s comments, with many indicating that it was a sign that he was not fit to run for office.
