The GOP finally successfully blocked the Democrats in its first filibuster of the Biden Administration.
The effort to open debate on a bill to create a commission to investigate the January 6 Capitol riot failed in the senate on Friday in a 54-35 vote.
Twice-failed presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton lashed out at Senate Republicans for blocking the commission and falsely claimed Trump supporters murdered a police officer.
“An angry mob attacked our Capitol, our lawmakers, and our election,” Hillary said in a tweet on Friday. “They killed a policeman. And Republican leaders would rather we all not know more about what happened.”
Of course this is a brazen lie.
The only person murdered that day was Ashli Babbitt.
Babbitt, an unarmed veteran, was murdered by a Capitol Hill Police lieutenant.
Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick suffered two strokes and died of natural causes, the District Chief medical examiner ruled last month.
The autopsy found no evidence of external or internal injuries and Sicknick did not have an allergic reaction to any chemical irritants.
The mainstream media, with The New York Times leading the charge, lied about Sicknick’s death and falsely claimed he died from injuries suffered after being hit in the head with a fire extinguisher during the Capitol riot on January 6.
The Gateway Pundit was first to report that Officer Sicknick may have died from a stroke.
Twitter users blasted Hillary Clinton.
