Biden Horrifies Pelosi By Saying Trump May Be ‘Future President’

A recent speech by President Joe Biden elicited a sickened response from former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

Los Angeles Times reporter Nolan McCaskill recently spent a day with Pelosi, who remains a member of Congress after stepping down from leadership, for a profile published on Monday.

McCaskill observed Pelosi react to a speech given by Biden on March 9 pitching his budget proposal for fiscal year 2024. At one point during his remarks, Biden harkened back to his 2020 election contest against former President Donald Trump.

“I had a big fight with the former president and maybe future president — bless me, Father,” Biden said. Amid a wave of boos in the room, Biden indicated he was joking.

Pelosi, who watched the address from her office, was not amused.

“Oh, please. Don’t even say such a thing,” Pelosi said. “That isn’t kidding. That’s horrible.”

Trump announced in November a third campaign for the White House for the 2024 election cycle. Biden has said he intends to seek re-election, setting up the possibility of a 2020 rematch against Trump, but he has yet to formally declare a campaign.

It wasn’t all negative reviews from Pelosi during Biden’s remarks about his budget plan.

The report said she applauded the president at different points during the speech. Pelosi also shared how she believed Biden should redirect himself to face the camera when he turned away.

Another particular moment Pelosi did not enjoy was when Biden alluded to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) calling him a “liar” during his State of the Union speech.

Biden did not mention Greene by name, referring to her as “that gentlelady from Georgia” instead.

“He’s going to raise her a million dollars by mentioning her name,” Pelosi said.

The profile by The Los Angeles Times featured several other revelations about Pelosi.

For one, Pelosi said she is writing a book. Although she refused to divulge details, the report said she laughed and promised to be fair.

In regard to her future in general, Pelosi said she will “probably will be saying some things about our democracy and what the Republicans and the court have done to narrow it.”

Pelosi also expressed relief at no longer being a member of congressional leadership.

She leaned in toward the reporter to whisper that she is “emancipated now!” before returning to her full voice to add: “Liberated! Freedom! Free at last!”
