Actor Jim Caviezel posted a viral Twitter thread that said Pride Month events are “robbing children of their innocence” while he slammed “woke ideology.”
The 54-year-old actor on Monday blasted “certain sectors of society” who he said “gleefully” attempt to harm kids.
“It seems that so many people have become not only obsessed with sexuality but with foisting it on young children by having them attend events with people who dress as the opposite sex,” Caviezel tweeted.” How long are we going to allow woke ideology to trample over our rights and the rights of our children to not only live in a society that doesn’t sexualize everything, but that turns school into a form of manipulation?”
The “Passion of the Christ” star said schools aren’t for the “propagation of woke philosophies” and instead should be emphasizing the “fundamentals of English, math, history, science, and so on.”
Caviezel added that society is trying to tell people “sexuality is fluid” and then said, “research shows something quite different.”
“Gender differences, boys being different from girls, is a highly researched and supported topic in the field of psychology,” Caviezel tweeted. “Indeed. Research has shown that human brains are not fully developed until the age of 25 or older. Thus, the brains of small children are simply too undeveloped to deal with issues related to sexuality.”
“When we force sexuality upon young children, we harm their development,” he added. “When we harm children, we also harm families. And when this happens, society suffers.”
In another post, Caviezel retweeted a video clip from a drag march in New York City Pride that showed attendees chanting, “We’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for your children.”
Caviezel tweeted, “When did you start to believe your conspiracy theory was correct?”
“Well, they just started saying it out loud in front of the cameras.”
In an earlier post, the actor retweeted a post from End Wokeness which included an image of Balenciaga’s controversial BDSM-themed ad campaign featuring children, along with pictures of kids at Pride events in contentious settings.
“There is no justification for bringing children to these places. May God protect these innocent children,” Caviezel tweeted.
