Brazil in Crisis! The government's solution? Eating crickets!

Brazil in Crisis! Inflation has skyrocketed meat and egg prices. The government's solution? Eating crickets! The newspaper O Globo, an ally of Lula's government, is promoting insect consumption as a “sustainable and nutritious” alternative while Brazilians can barely afford basic food. Meat prices have risen by 20.4%, and eggs by up to 40%. Not even during the pandemic did we see something like this!
Progressives and environmentalists now want people to swap a good steak for a handful of insects. But this is not just absurd—it's dangerous. Meat and eggs provide essential proteins, heme iron, vitamin B12, and zinc—nutrients that crickets CANNOT fully replace.
The real issue here isn't meat—it's the economy. Lula and his government have failed to control inflation, and now they're selling this as a “viable alternative” while Brazilians struggle to feed themselves. How much longer will the left keep impoverishing people and disguising it as “sustainability”? Leave your opinion in the comments!
